India's COVID vaccine lauded; but politics & dearth continues, suggests studies

India is battling with the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic and amidst the second wave, the shortage of vaccine has resulted in political fights between the Centre and the state governments. Both the Centre and the state governments have locked horns again for the differences in vaccine prices and availability of the vaccines in the state. However, a new study has found out that both Covishield and Bharat Biotech's Covaxin are effective in fighting the disease and have shown 95% protection.
