After Mahira Khan and Saba Qamar, the latest Pakistani actor to speak ill of Bollywood films is here. Meet Rabi Pirzada.
While promoting a film in Lahore, Rabi said Pakistani youth is forgetting their culture and traditions because of Bollywood films.
Rabi, as d by The Express Tribune, said, "Every other film released in Bollywood happens to be about crime or some criminal activities, especially films of Salman Khan. My question is, what are Indian film-makers teaching the youth? It seems like they are just promoting crime."
Rabi Pirzada went on to reminisce about the golden days of Pakistani cinema when films were infused with moral lessons.
"There was a time when Pakistani cinema was at its peak, making films with moral lessons and plots highlighting social ethics. We were educating the society through our films but Bollywood has changed all of that," said Rabi Pirzada.
Rabi Pirzada is the latest in a long line of Pakistani artists who have made rash comments on Bollywood. And somehow every time Salman Khan is involved.
In February this year, an old video featuring Pak actor Saba Qamar surfaced on the internet, where she was seen making fun of Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Emraan Hashmi. Saba called Salman 'chhichhora' though later she added that she said it out of fun and that Salman is 'humble'.
