Indian army objects to AIIMS building construction, says 'Guidelines being violated'

AIIMS construction has now hit a roadblock. The Indian army has objected to the construction of the AIIMS facility at a proposed site in Awantipora in South Kashmir. The Indian army suggests that building this hospital would compromise security of Military Garrison which is close to this vicinity. The Indian Army has also said that the guidelines have been violated in the construction of this AIIMS facility as the building would be overlooking military installations which is why they have now objected the construction of the AIIMS facility in Awantipora.
