Indian Army Chief to be conferred with honorary rank of Nepal General

Chief of Indian Army General Bipin Rawat is set to be conferred Honary General of Nepal. A special programme will be organised at Residence of President of Nepal Shital Niwas where President Bidhya Devi Bhandari will be conferring the honorary title to Rawat. General Rawat is in Nepal on the invitation of Chief of Army Staff of Nepal Rajendra Chhetri. Rawat is scheduled to pay courtesy call to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Defense Minister Balkrishna Khand. Apart from the meetings, Rawat also will be visiting Indian Army Pension Camp in Pokhara and will address ex-Gurkhas. He will also visit Manang and Muktinath Temples.
