After winning the series opener comprehensively, the Joe Root-led side would want to extend its dominance over India.

The MA Chidambaram Stadium will host the second Test from February 13 (9:30 AM IST).
It is understood that the wicket will be different from the one used in the opening Test, and the ball could turn from Day 1.

England: James Anderson, Dom Bess left out for second Test
England announced their 12-man team for the second Test on Friday.
Considering the rotation policy, fast bowler James Anderson and off-spinner Dominic Bess are the two big omissions from the squad.
The tourists are already without wicket-keeper Jos Buttler (rest) and pacer Jofra Archer (elbow injury).
The likes of Moeen Ali, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, Ben Foakes and Olly Stone have been roped in.
