India slams 'expansionist' China for stalling UN reforms

At the 75th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) on 16th November, India said, The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has become an "impaired organ" due to its "inability to act with credibility". India also highlighted that the Intergovernmental Negotiations (IGN) has become like a "platform for debate in the university".

While speaking at the UNGA, TS Tirumurti, India's Permanent Representative to the UN, said, "Today's Security Council is an impaired organ. It has been unable to act with credibility essentially due to its unrepresentative nature. But then, what is happening inside the IGN process, which we seem to be wedded to?"
