India fights COVID: UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson calls of visit to India; virtual meeting to take place

Amid the ongoing surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in India, United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called off his visit to India, which was scheduled for the next week. Boris Johnson was scheduled to visit India in the coming week and the decision has now been taken mutually by both Boris Johnson and PM Modi. The agenda of the meeting was to strengthen the ties between India and the United Kingdom via a meeting in person.
