India continues fight against COVID, ICMR releases new set of guidelines

India has once again reported over 3.5 lah fresh COVID cases in the last 24 years along with over 3,700 deaths. The total COVID case tally is now mounting towards 3.5 Million. In order to reduce the burden on laboratories, the ICMR has now come up with a new set of guidelines and SOPs, which includes that there will be no tests for travel and no post-recovery test will now take place. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope, while addressing the media on the COVID situation in the state, added that the positivity rate has come down and the state is now witnessing a slight dip in the daily COVID cases.
