Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina inked five key pacts in a joint statement today. Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Bangladesh, met with the members of the Matua community in Orakandi. While addressing the Matua community, the PM said that both India and Bangladesh want to see peace, stability, and love instead of instability, terror and unrest in the entire world. Earlier in the day, he paid tribute to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangabandhu Mausoleum Complex, Tungipara where he was accompanied by his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina and has also offered prayers at Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple in Ishwaripur, Satkhira district.
