Can IMF projections be challenged? | Frankly Speaking

On Frankly Speaking with Navika Kumar, Indian economist and the current Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India (CEA) Krishnamurthy Venkata Subramanian talks about the IMP projections that have come out. Subramanian believes that India did not waste its precious fiscal space at that time (Lockdown period) and focused on essentials. He further states that the 11% growth prediction is based on the steps taken in one year as the eco survey covers the extensive moves taken and is driven by fundamental economic principles. He also mentions that the main focus is to spend on essential in months of uncertainty.
