IMD predicts normal rainfall in Northwest India ahead of monsoon

New Delhi, June 01 (ANI): Speaking on monsoon season in India, India Meteorological Department (IMD) DG Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said that the Northwest part of the country is expecting normal rainfall. “We are expecting normal rainfall for Northwest India. There is a probability of below-normal rainfall over Leh and Ladakh region and normal to slightly above normal rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir region,” said IMD DG, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra during video-conference interation on June 01.
