IMA writes to Prime Minister Modi, requesting to intervene in the assault on doctors case

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene personally and meet doctors' long-standing concerns in the fight against COVID-19 on Monday. In a letter to the Prime Minister, the IMA stated that more than 1400 doctors have died since the pandemic hit India in 2020. While applauding the PM's efforts to reduce vaccine apprehension among the general public, it voiced concern about certain individuals' ongoing attempts to propagate misinformation about vaccines and contemporary medicine's evidence-based scientific practices. In addition, the IMA has planned to hold a 'National Protest Day' on June 18 to support these requests. Listen in!
