Hugs for tukde tukde and arrest of peaceful youth: Amit Shah slams Rahul Gandhi

Reacting to a tweet of the BJP wing of Karnataka, Amit Shah asked Congress government why youth raising pro-Modi slogans were arrested in Karnataka.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah has hit out at the Congress for arresting the youth raising pro-Modi slogans at an event in Karnataka.

On Monday, the police had arrested people who raised pro-Modi slogans when Congress president Rahul was addressing entrepreneurs in Karnataka.

The BJP wing of Karnataka on Monday slammed police action, tweeted alleged video of the incident and claimed that democracy was in danger in the state.

"Police arrest few techies for raising pro-Modi slogans at Manyata tech park in Bengaluru. This is the real face of democracy in a Cong-JDS ruled state. It is total dictatorship where freedom of choice and expression of citizens is suppressed," the BJP wing tweeted.

Reacting to this tweet of the Karnataka BJP, Amit Shah asked why peaceful youth were arrested in Karnataka.

"Hugs for Tukde Tukde gang and arrest of peaceful youth raising pro-Modi slogans? Where are the champions of Free Speech?" Amit Shah asked.

In a veiled attack on Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Amit Shah said, "Yuvraj of Congress must know that the world follows the youth".

Amit Shah added, Stop intimidating the youth of India, which has rejected your brand of politics.
