New Delhi, December 7: Chinese smartphone maker Huawei on Tuesday launched its most anticipated smartphone- the Honor 7X at a grand event in London. Honor 7X boasts of a full view, 5.93-inch screen and will be available in India from today under an exclusive arrangement with Amazon India. Amazon will exclusively begin the sale of the new Honor smartphone at 12 pm today. Earlier this month, Amazon India started with the registration process for the Honor 7X.

The e-commerce firm has announced exciting deals to lure customers. Buyers are also eligible to get Rs1,250 instant discount with ICICI Bank Credit Cards, on the purchase of a new of Huawei Honor 7x smartphone today. It has to be noted that as long as Rs 10,000 is spent on the card for the purchase, you will be eligible for the offer. The discount is valid on the purchase of one phone per card only. The smartphone comes in two variants in India- the 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is priced at Rs 12,999 while the second is the 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which comes for Rs 15,999. The Honor 7X  comes in three colour variants on offer- Blue, Gold, and Black. The phone features revolutionary features including dual lens 16MP+2MP camera as well as Bokeh & Portrait mode which gives amazing pictures. It comes with a5.93-inch bezel-less full-HD+ curved display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The launch event on Monday also saw the global launch of the AI centric Honor V10 which was launched in China a few days ago. As of now, the company sells only 15 per cent of its smartphones globally – a figure it wants to increase to 60 per cent by 2022. Honor President George Zhao, while launching the sleek gadget at the Mermaid theatre on Monday said his company’s aim is to become the favourite brand for the young and “those who are young at heart”when it comes to smartphones. “It is an unrivalled product of unbelievable value,” he said.

Honor 7X is the successor of the highly acclaimed Honor 6X. The key features of the smartphone include the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, 4GB RAM, microSD support up to 256GB, 4G VoLTE support. The Honor 7X  boasts of a 3340mAh non-removable battery with premium features and cutting-edge technology. It is powered by Huawei’s futuristic Kirin 970. It powers complex artificial intelligence features such as advanced scene detection and voice recognition.
