Ram Rahim's Honeypreet produced at Panchkula court

Honeypreet was presented at the Panchkula Court today for her alleged involvement in the Panchkula riots that took place on August 28 after Gurmeet Singh was convicted for raping two of his followers.

The problems of the not so godly 'Godman' Rahim Rahim Singh's daughter seems to be never ending.

Honeypreet Insan, or Papa's angel as she calls herself, who did not have money to hire a lawyer to fight a case charged against her alleging her to be the mastermind behind the riots that broke after rapist Gurmeet Singh was sentenced to 20 years in prison, will be produced at the district and session court in Panchkula today.

The accused is said to be involved in the Panchkula riots that took place on 28th August.

Honeypreet was shifted from Ambala Central Jail to Panchkula earlier this morning amid tight security.

Along with Honeypreet Insan would be 15 others accused in the case involving the riots that took place in Panchkula.

A 1,200-page chargesheet has been prepared against the accused that was submitted by the police to the court last week.

Chamkor Singh, Rakesh kumar, Surendra Dhiman, Gurmeet Sharanjeet Kaur, Goving Pradeep, Kumar Dan Singh, Sukhdeep Kaur, CP Arora and Kharoti Lal would also be questioned for their alleged involvement in making a plan to rescue Ram Rahim from the prison and in inciting violence leading to the death of 37 people.

Honeypreet Insan is accused of paying Rs 1.5 crore to the men leading the protests to create disturbances around the court and facilitate Ram Rahim's escape. That attempt was foiled and Ram Rahim was flown in a chopper to Rohtak prison.

Police confirmed that Honeypreet has confessed to all the the accusations made against her. The police has also confiscated a diary, laptop and other important items from Honeypreet Insan.

Meanwhile, Honeypreet's arrest has not gone down well with Ram Rahim Singh, as told by his lawyer.

'Papaji' seems to be quite worried for his angel even in the prison.
