Home isolation COVID patients in Etah, U.P. receive expired medicines

Home isolation patients were reportedly given expired medicines in the Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Umesh Kumar Tripathi, the Chief Medical Officer of Etah explained that the medicines were put in by mistake and said that a committee has been formed to carry out a probe into the matter. The issue came to light when a COVID-19 patient who was in home isolation wrote to the DM complaining that he had received expired B-complex medicines.
