Holi 2017: Anushka, Rishi Kapoor urge fans to abstain from putting colours on animals

When the whole nation is celebrating the festival of colours, Anushka Sharma and Rishi Kapoor took some time out to spread a good message, on behalf of all the animal lovers. Both Anushka and Rishi Kapoor took to their Twitter handle to share a message to make us realise that it is no fun for animals to be sprayed with colours. The 'Sultan' actress posted a picture of a dog, all with colour, and herself in a 'Phillauri' look and wrote, "#ShashiWasThere jab ispe rang daala gaya. Jaanwaron ko rang pasand nahi. Insaan sirf insaano ke saath Holi khelein pls! Happy & safe Holi." Rishi, on the other hand, too urged his fans to protect the animals from colours during Holi. "Please pay heed to this request. Think it is absolutely our responsibility to protect them. Pass on the message specially to the children," he tweeted. Well, we too agree with them and will say play safe Holi and don't throw colours on animals!
