HM Amit Shah in West Bengal: After May, Mamata Banerjee won't be Chief Minister

On Thursday, Home Minister Amit Shah said the BJP would gain over 200 seats in West Bengal. Speaking at a rally in Cooch Behar, Shah said Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had robbed the central schemes of the state. "TMC did nothing for the people of Bengal," he said.

Listing the names of BJP workers allegedly killed in the state, Shah said that an atmosphere of fear and panic had been generated by the West Bengal government under Mamata Banerjee. Shah said that more than 130 BJP employees were killed in West Bengal by TMC goons, but no action was taken in the state by the Mamata Banerjee government. Amit Shah said the BJP operates with the 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas' ideal, adding that the party takes forward the cultures, literature and traditions of every group, claiming that the TMC and Communist Parties have done little for development in the state.
