Home Minister Amit Shah will be chairing an important meeting on Cyclone Tauktae preparedness with the State Chief Ministers of Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat and Maharashtra where the cyclone is expected to cause damage. Times Now's Nikunj reports, Home Minister will be revealing the preparedness in terms of national disaster management authority and national disaster response force both are administratively controlled by his ministry. Their preparedness, NDRF deployment, states requirement and effect of the landfall which now largely seems to be centred around Dadra And Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Gujarat & Maharashtra. The state ministers will come up with a requirement that they have on the ground at this moment other than what the centre has already provided in terms of NDRF rescue teams and NDRF response force special deployment.
