Home Minister Amit Shah has chaired a meeting over the preparedness of cyclone Yaas brewing in the Bay of Bengal. The focus of the meeting is on evacuation and protecting oxygen supply. The meeting is held with the Chief Ministers of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and the Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to review preparations in the wake of cyclone Yaas. Cyclone Yaas is likely to cross north Odisha-West Bengal coasts between Paradip and Sagar Island around May 26 noon. It is expected to be as intense as Cyclone Tauktae which slammed into the west coast last week. TIMES NOW's Nikunj Garg brings in more details.
