High tourists’ footfall in Shimla turns city into dump yard

Shimla (HP), July 2 (ANI): After the Himachal Pradesh Government lifted the lockdown, tourists have started to visit the state. Where the increased footfall of tourists will boost the tourism sector and economy of the state, the tourist spots are losing its beauty due to pollution. Tourists have turned Shimla in miserable condition and the nature’s paradise has turned into a garbage dumping yard. Plastics, bottles, garbage and liquor bottles are being thrown in parks, forests and other areas. The locals here are demanding strict vigilance and action against people who are creating pollution while visiting the city.
