Expanding its portfolio of commuter bikes in India, Hero MotoCorp has taken the wraps off its affordable HF 100 commuter bike.

It is priced at Rs. 49,400 and gets similar hardware as the HF Deluxe model.

As for the key highlights, the HF 100 comes with an analog console, 9.1-liter of fuel capacity, and a 97.2cc engine.

Design: It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels

The Hero HF 100 sits on a tubular double cradle frame and features a blacked-out semi-faired design, a flat-type seat, a thin grab rail, body-colored mirrors, and a long exhaust pipe.

It also houses a halogen headlamp, an analog instrument console, and rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Further, the bike has a fuel capacity of 9.1-liter and a kerb weight of 110kg.

Fact: It runs on a 7.9hp, 97.2cc engine

The Hero HF 100 draws power from a 97.2cc, air-cooled engine that produces 7.91hp of maximum power and 8.05Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties on the vehicle are handled by a 4-speed gearbox.

Safety: Drum brakes on both the wheels ensure safety

For the safety of the rider, the Hero HF 100 is equipped with 130mm drum brakes on the front and rear wheels.

Meanwhile, suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers on the front side and a swingarm with 2-step adjustable shock absorbers on the rear end.

The Hero HF 100 is priced at Rs. 49,400 (ex-showroom) and stands as the cheapest motorcycle by Hero MotoCorp. It goes against the likes of Bajaj CT 100 in India.
