Hatt Ja Tau: Ex-Bigg Boss 11 Contestant Sapna Chaudhary Makes Bollywood Debut With Veerey Ki Wedding Song (Video)
Every year, the controversial reality show Bigg Boss brings together a set of known and unknown faces, who live together in one house and are constantly monitored with CCTV cameras. While the winner of the show is just one, the others still get to reap the benefits of the exposure offered by the show. They not only get a chance to impress the audience, but also end up getting more lucrative offers after the show ends, if they have a large fan base. So while Shilpa Shinde won Bigg Boss 11 (the most recent season), others like Bandagi Kalra, Puneesh Sharma and Akash Dadlani continue to be in the limelight with photoshoots and other reality show appearances. And now, former Bigg Boss 11 contestant Sapna Chaudhary has made her big screen debut.
The Haryanvi dancer has danced her way into Bollywood with a song in the upcoming film Veerey ki Wedding. Her sizzling dance moves will make you want to groove with her. The feet-tapping song, Hatt Ja Tau, has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and is a modern rendition of the original hit by Vikas Gupta. Wearing a pink chudidaar and a wide grinning smile, Sapna looks every bit the desi-kudi that she is. Her dance steps in the song are very akin to her dancing style in real life, and hence makes for an entertaining watch. The lyrics have been penned by Dr. Devendra Kafir and the song seems to be a party or a sangeet sequence in the film.

The film has been directed by Ashu Trikha and stars Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Jimmy Sheirgill, Satish Kaushik and Supriya Karnik. Recently, the release of the film was advanced by a week to March 2. This was perhaps to avoid a clash with Anushka Sharma’s horror film Pari. The film’s title is very similar to the Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar starrer Veere Di Wedding. At a recent press-conference, Pulkit Samrat was asked about this. He reportedly said that “There were five Bhagat Singh films, which released together. They had a similar plot as well. Here, only the title is similar. The makers had the title already and then the other one got announced… Both are different films.” What are your thoughts on this feet-tapping number from the film Veerey Ki Wedding?
