Haryana: 21-year-old girl shot dead outside college; family alleges Love Jihad, CM responds

A 21-year-old girl was shot dead in broad daylight by two men outside her college. Nikita Tomar, the victim had earlier filed a complaint against one of the accused, accusing him of molestation and harassment. The incident took place in Faridabad's Ballabgarh area and has now sparked the massive protest. The incident was caught on camera and the family is now staging a protest. The family alleges that Nikita was forced to convert to Islam.

The victim's family states that it is a case of Love Jihad and the victim was being forced to convert and marry since 2018. Political reactions for the same have come in from Haryana's Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who says that the accused won't be spared. Two accused have been arrested.
