Harish Rawat takes responsibility of Congress' defeat in Uttarakhand

Caretaker Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat on Saturday took responsibility of the Congress's defeat in the state assembly polls, saying it was a consequence of loopholes in his leadership. "Congress ki jo haar huyi hai, me usko sweekar karta hun. Meri leadership mein kuch kami reh gayi ki Congress haar gayi," he said. Rawat's statements came after he submitted his resignation to the state Governor KK Paul who asked him to serve as 'caretaker chief minister' until the new government comes forms government. Harish Rawat has lost from both seats- Kichha and Haridwar Rural.
