Harambee Stars are expected to report to camp on Monday in readiness for the forthcoming Afcon qualifier against Sierra Leone.
The senior National Team will host Sierra Leone on November 18, a match that Kenya just requires a point to book her place in the 2019 continental showpiece set to be staged in Cameroon.
The squad that was named by Coach Sebastien Migne three weeks ago, is set to hit camp next week alongside the Emerging Stars who will also take on Mauritius in the Under 23 qualifiers.
Football Kenya Federation said that the team will still report to camp even though Sierra Leone's match remains a double. The West African nation is still serving a Fifa ban due to government interference.
“While it is not confirmed whether we will play Sierra Leone, we have decided to prepare as if the match is on and that is why the players are going to camp,” said the FKF president Nick Mwendwa.
Meanwhile, FK requires Sh83 million to prepare the three teams, including the Harambee Starlets, who are set to grace the women’s Africa Cup of Nations finals in Ghana from November 17.
