Halal controversy in Kerala continues; another Christian group joins

Another Christian group has joined in the Boycott Halal controversy in Kerala. A Christian group came forward and stated that the Halal meat should be boycotted in Kerala, and it should not be used in preparing for celebrations of Christmas. Hindu group joined in too and stated that the Hindus are also being forced to sell Halal meat in the state, on the other hand, IUML claimed that the campaign is divisive.

Secretary of CASA, stated that the Halal meat is against their culture and religious beliefs. Hindu groups have added that the Halal meat is being pushed by the Left government.
