Guru Raghavendra bank depositors' desperate plea for resolution

One year after RBI imposed restrictions on withdrawal no relief in sight for Depositors of Guru Raghavendra Bank.
The aim of the protest was to commemorate 1 year of Restriction imposed on the Bank U/S 35A of the Banking Regulation Act 1949 (AACS) by RBI. The restriction imposed by RBI limiting withdrawal by the Depositors to Rs.35000 which was subsequently enhanced to Rs. One Lakh. There are a total of 42000 depositors who have invested about 2400 crores. 85% of the customers were senior citizens. What's surprising is that the RBI had given A+ for 10 years before actually realizing it was defaulting.
