New Delhi, Sep 2 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 13 to Rs 4,008 per 10 quintal in futures trade after speculators increased their positions driven by a firm trend in spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed for September contracts increased by Rs 13, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 4,008 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 63,430 lots.
Similarly, guar seed for October delivery traded higher by Rs 18, or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 4,037 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 29,310 lots.
