Govt issues new guidelines for vaccinating; Lactating women to be given the jabs

The Government of India has now announced fresh guidelines in regards to India's vaccination policy. The government has stated that those who have tested COVID positive after taking their first jab can defer the second jab by 3-4 months in order to recover completely. Further, the government has also added that lactating women can take the vaccine jab, however, no update in regards to the pregnant women taking the vaccine is out yet. A lot of confusion prevailed over who can be vaccinated after contracting the virus have now been put to end after the government panel approved recommendations from NTAGI and other bodies. Watch.
