On Wednesday, the government announced that building the health infrastructure using the Corporate Social Responsibility fund will be an "eligible activity" for all the companies. This step has been taken keeping the ongoing Covid crisis in view in the nation. As per the corporate affairs ministry in a circular posted on Twitter, supply of oxygen concentrators, ventilators, cylinders and other medical equipment for Covid-19 will be regarded as CSR activities. Companies can use their CSR fund in different ways to encourage the medical infrastructure of the nation by investing funds amount in it. Watch out for the video for more information.
