Government reaches out to opposition to ensure smooth functioning of Budget session

The Central Government is extending an olive branch to the opposition. A statement is likely to take place in the Lok Sabha to end the stalemate that has been going between the Centre and the opposition to make the budget function smoothly. On Friday, infact, there was a meeting that took place between all floor leaders and the Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, where the Government had told the opposition that they are willing to have a short duration discussion on the farmers' issue on Friday on Saturday in the Lok Sabha. Today the Prime Minister held a meeting with all the top ministers of the Indian Government and arrived to the conclusion that the Government is willing to make a proposal on the floor of the house and Rajnath Singh is likely to issue the statement.
