Government committed to address the issue of poverty: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the government is committed to building a modern India where all the poor people will be have their own home.Speaking on the 126th birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar, PM Modi said that the great leader worked towards bringing a positive difference in the lives of the poor. He further said that the government's road to enabling the poor to win against poverty begins with the access to formal financial institutions and instruments. Once financial inclusion is achieved, the government can deploy a range of measures to address poverty.
