Gor Mahia have acquired the services former Mathare United physiotherapist, Stephen Komen.
Komen replaced Italian Sandro Fantoni who parted ways with the record Kenyan champions last season.
The former Mathare United and the women’s teams officially joined Gor Mahia on November 1 according to K’Ogalo CEO Omondi Aduda.
“It is true that we have named Stephen Komen as the new physiotherapist. He already started work on November 1 and we wish him all the best at the club,” Aduda told Goal.
Komen will be tasked with keeping in check the players’ physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury to improve their performances.
Gor Mahia are currently on a trip in the UK, where they played English Premier League side Everton on Tuesday.
K’Ogalo are expected to kick off their title defense in December when the new season kick off.
