Jacques Tuyisenge scored his 13th Kenyan Premier League goal this season in a 2-1 victory over Posta Rangers on Friday.
Tuyisenge’s opener and a Francis Kahata’s second half strike helped Gor Mahia bounce back from Tuesday’s shock defeat against Bandari.
K’Ogalo suffered their first defeat of the season in a 2-1 lose away in Mombasa on Tuesday, but responded in a fashionable style to finish a double over Rangers, whom they beat 5-0 in the first leg.

Tuyisenge put Gor Mahia in front with only 12 minutes into the game. That goal cuts Elvis Rupia’s lead in the race for the KPL Golden Boot to within three goals.
Francis Kahata doubled Gor Mahia's lead after the restart with a second goal, but Rangers pulled one back, late in the dying minutes of the game but it was not enough to help them get a point.
The victory saw Gor Mahia open a 14 point-lead at the top of the table having garnered 59 points so far.
Gor Mahia XI: Boniface Oluoch, Philemon Otieno, Innocent Wafula, Haron Shakava, Joash Onyango, Ernest Wendo, Francis Kahata, Humphrey Mieno, George Odhiambo, Francis Mustapha and Jacques Tuyisenge.
