Goa govt to take control of admissions at private COVID hospitals

Panaji (Goa), May 15 (ANI): As COVID positivity rate remains high in Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant claimed that 21 COVID private hospitals are not in the same page with the Government to reserve 50% beds for patients. “Hence, Govt will take control of admissions at these hospitals from Monday. Govt will pay for the treatment at these hospitals,” said CM Sawant. To ensure admission process, government officer will be stationed at each of these private hospitals. Goa has over 32,000 active cases of COVID.
