Goa adds 69 new COVID-19 cases to tally

Panaji, Mar 10 (PTI) Goa's COVID-19 tally reached 55,607, after 69 persons tested positive for the infection on Wednesday, an official from the health department said.

While 57 patients were discharged from hospitals following the recovery, no casualties were reported during the day, the official said.

With this, the count of recoveries has reached 54,130 and the toll stood at 802, he said.

The coastal state is now left with 675 active cases, the official said.

At least 1,491 samples were tested in the day, taking the total number of tests conducted in the state to 5,07,998, he added.
