The Ontario government has announced the planned name and logo of the stores that will handle the sales of recreational marijuana in the province once it becomes legal.
The name of the stores will be — drumroll, please — Ontario Cannabis Store (sad trombone sound).

annoyed that the Ontario Cannabis Store logo doesn't include a string of dancing grateful dead bears and an alien in a cat-in-the-hat hat saying "take me to your provincially authorized dealer" while devil stix-ing.

I dunno, everybody is saying the Ontario Cannabis Store logo is boring, but if you flip it 90 degrees to the right, you can turn it into a fancy little cowboy on a saddle. #onpoli pic.twitter.com/dvIVWd1myu

"Ontario Cannabis Store: Because we committed to selling this stuff and I guess we have to follow through"

Sure the Ontario Cannabis Store logo looks lame right now, but maybe it comes to life after after a few bong rips??? pic.twitter.com/UD0BB3aIQO

Only time will tell if the logo gets a flashy update in the years to come, but for now, get used to the bland, boring branding that the government is offering.
