The final month of the 2010s decade is underway as the cricket fans gear up for yet another exciting phase of cricket. The top three cricketing nations of the world, Australia, India and South Africa will host the other teams at home while December 2019 also marks the beginning of the Big Bash League 2019-20.
Besides, for the first time in this decade, Pakistan will play a Test series at home as Sri Lanka has agreed to tour Pakistan and take part in a 2-Test series. Apart from the Big Bash League, two more T20 leagues - Super Smash T20 and the Bangladesh Premier League will kick off in New Zealand and Bangladesh, respectively.

West Indies tour of India, 2019
After concluding their series against Afghanistan, West Indies will lock horns with the red-hot Indian team in the limited-overs formats. The two teams will first meet in a 3-match T20I series before battling with each other in the one-day format.
December 6th: India vs West Indies, first T20I, Hyderabad
December 8th: India vs West Indies, second T20I, Thiruvananthapuram
December 11th: India vs West Indies, third T20I, Mumbai
December 15th: India vs West Indies, first ODI, Chennai
December 18th: India vs West Indies, second ODI, Visakhapatnam
December 22nd: India vs West Indies, third T20I, Cuttack
Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan, 2019
As mentioned ahead, Sri Lanka will become the first international team to play a Test series in Pakistan when they travel the Asian country to play 2 Tests in December 2019. This will be Pakistan's first home Test series under the ICC World Test Championship hence, they will look to secure as many points as they can.
December 11th-15th: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, first Test, Rawalpindi
December 19th-23rd: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, second Test, Karachi
New Zealand tour of Australia, 2019
Before the big series against India, New Zealand will play a 3-Test series against their neighbours who recently whitewashed Pakistan 2-0. New Zealand would be high on momentum having played good cricket against England.
December 12th-16th: Australia vs New Zealand, first Test, Perth
December 26th-30th: Australia vs New Zealand, second Test, Melbourne
(The third Test match will be played in January 2020)
England tour of South Africa, 2019
The South African team will try to register their first win of the ICC World Test Championship when they host England in a 4-match Test series. The first Test will commence on Boxing Day while the remaining three games will take place in 2020.
December 26th-30th: South Africa vs England, first Test, Centurion
