Fukrey Returns Trade Buzz: Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal’s Film To Earn Rs 12 – 16 Crore In The Opening Weekend
The makers have now finally returned with the second instalment of the film, Fukrey Returns, after the super hit success that was the first instalment of Fukrey back in 2013. And as it seems, the story is going to continue right from where it left off. The story that follows the chronicles of the four friends: Hunny, Choocha, Lali and Zafar who want to make easy money with Choocha’s future insights at the core of the plan. All in all, it is looking like an exciting installment, but what numbers should it be expecting at the box office?
Whilst talking to trade expert Akshaye Rathi, we found out that the film is releasing at a good time as well. The trade expert suggested the Fukras should do well raking in Rs 4 – 4.5 crore on its opening day, with an estimated weekend collection of Rs 12 – 16 crore at best. The film will be releasing in 1500 screens. ALSO READ: Fukrey Returns Song Ishq De Fanniyar: Priya Anand – Pulkit Samrat’s Love Story In This New Track Is To Die For
Mr Rathi also believes with no major release post Diwali, the fans have been left wanting for more. And with a dry spell at the theatre screen with few films good enough to spend a buck on, even a film moderately above average which is also entertaining to watch, has a chance to make big bucks. And in that respect, Fukrey Returns is an incredible prospect. And since Padmavati has had its date deferred, the runway is clear for the Fukras. The film is directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and stars Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, and Richa Chadha in the lead roles.
