The craze to binge-watch Friends can never go away. And now you can even get paid for it. The American sitcom, which aired on September 22, 1994, is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. A lot of events are on the line, but Frontier Communications is earning praises to announce the contest, which is possibly the best one so far. The US Company is paying $1000 to a fan who can sit on a Friends marathon for 25 hours and live tweet about the same. It is notable here that the application submissions have already started and fans must submit their interest by September 3, 2019. The ideal Friends crazy fan has to have an active Twitter account and should be a citizen of the United States of America. To participate in the Binge-Watch Friends contest, you will have to visit the company’s website or simply click here. “This job is for any self-proclaimed die-hard Friends superfan looking to prove their salt,” reads the job description. After finishing the marathon, you will have to click your picture and tweet it celebrating September 22 with your gang.
What Are the Prizes?
- After finishing the task, you will receive a check of $1000.
- One year of Netflix subscription. And if you are already a Netflix user, the company will send you a Visa gift card valued at the cost of a year-long subscription.
- A Friends fandom fun pack that will consist a Friends t-shirt, Central Perk mug, popcorn and treats.
After the entries are closed on September 3, the company will select one applicant and notify them through email on September 10, 2019. And then begins the marathon until September 22, 2019. Now you have another reason to watch your favourite sitcom. The recent contest has come after Lego Company announced to launch mini-figures of the show’s characters, allowing fans to make their own Central Perk.
