Grab a plastic seal bag and put your shoes in them, seal the plastic bag and then put them in the freezer overnight. This method works efficiently by killing any fungus or bacteria causing the odor. When you take out your shoes the next morning it will be good to use!

All you need to do is stuff a socks with fresh, unused kitty litter and secure it with a rubber band or simply seal it with a knot. The first thing that you need to do if you shoes start stinking is to wash them (if they are washable). Toss the shoes into the washing machine or wash them manually using some detergent and water. But make sure that you dry the shoes thoroughly before putting them on again.
