Fresh travel guidelines in Delhi; Key norms for Maharashtra Delhi passengers

The latest guidelines for travel have been instated by the Delhi government including specific curbs for passengers traveling from Maharashtra to compulsorily carry an RTPCR negative test report which shall not be older than 72 hours. Passengers failing to provide a negative report will have to stay quarantined for 14 days. Constitutional and government functionaries along with their staff members are exempted from this. This came into action after the recent conference of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal addressing the state with the latest curbs and weekend lockdown announcements. Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava comments on the situation and raises concerns over the rising covid cases in police force officers which is a pressing matter as they need to be at their full capacity to fight this situation. As even this curfew situation they police officials can not give up on their duties and have to carry on with their daily responsibilities and checks. He concludes with advice on wearing 3 ply masks and social distancing to avoid the spread.
