France passes Anti-Separatism Bill to fight 'Radical Islamists'; Move triggers debate in India

Facing real threats from Islamists terror, French lawmakers have approved a controversial Anti-Separatism Bill that would strengthen the site of mosques and religious schools in order to safeguard the European countries from radical Islamists. The bill passed with a majority of 347 with 65 abstentions and 150 people voting against it.

This latest development in France has triggered a fresh debate in India. Several BJP leaders and Hindu Groups are arguing the Central Government to enact a similar law to counter Jihadis in the country.
