I was framed in the Bengaluru riots case; I only tried to help the cops: SDPI leader

Recently, the Karnataka High court granted bail to over 100 people accused of the violence in DJ Halli and KG Halli. The Bangalore district secretary Muzzamil Pasha was named one of the accused who was also charged under UAPA; after being released on bail, the SDPI leader spoke to Times Now and claimed that he was wrongly framed in this case. He elaborated on what transpired that night and what followed. The SDPI leader has also claimed that a community was made a target in the case while alleging the involvement of the Congress leader Sampath raj in the violence that ensued.
