Four states express concern regarding shortage of COVID vaccines, Karnataka govt seeks more doses

As the states across the country face rising COVID cases in the past few weeks, the shortage of vaccine doses becomes a rising concern as well. Along with Maharashtra, the government of Karnataka has also expressed a shortage in vaccine doses and more states have demanded COVID vaccines. Karnataka has reported 6976 fresh cases, 4991 from the city of Bengaluru alone. It also seems that the requirement for more coronavirus vaccine doses will be the top discussion on the Karnataka CM's agenda when meeting with the Prime Minister today.
