Four new COVID-19 cases in Noida, tally up to 25,643

Noida (UP), Mar 11 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddh Nagar recorded four new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday that pushed the district's infection tally to 25,643, official data showed.

The active cases in the district came down to 82 from 85 the previous day, according to data released by the UP Health Department for a 24-hour period.

Seven patients got discharged during the period with the overall recoveries reaching 25,470, the fifth highest in the state, the data showed.

Gautam Buddh Nagar has a death toll of 91 with a mortality rate of 0.35 per cent. The recovery rate of patients reached 99.32 per cent, according to the statistics.

Meanwhile, the number of active COVID-19 cases in UP rose to 1,742 from 1,689 on Wednesday while the overall recoveries reached 5,94,308 and the death toll remained at 8,741 on Thursday, the data showed. PTI KIS HDA
