Shimla, Dec 23 (PTI) Himachal Pradesh witnessed slight relief from extreme cold wave conditions as minimum temperature increased by two to three notches in the state in the last 24 hours, the Meteorological (MeT) Department said on Monday. The tribal district Lahaul-Spiti's administrative centre Keylong continued to be the coldest place in the state at minus 7.4 degrees Celsius, MeT centre Shimla director Manmohan Singh said. Kalpa in Kinnaur district recorded a low of 0.8 degrees Celsius, he added. Manali, Kufri and Dalhousie registered a low of 2.4, 7.2 and 7.7 degrees Celsius, respectively. The minimum temperature in Shimla was recorded as 8.1 degrees Celsius, he added.
Meanwhile, the highest temperature in the state was registered in Una at 24 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. PTI DJI KJ KJ
