London, Sep 20 (ANI): A classic rap battle has reportedly emerged which features Crystal Palace's star winger Yannick Bolasie and former Southampton striker Bradley Wright-Phillips.
The exclusive trailer, for the 'Lord of the Mics' DVD, shows the two footballers going head-to-head in one of grime's most prestigious arenas. As an undercard to the main event, the footballers hang up their boots and pick up their microphones.
The battle between the pair is just a part of the highly anticipated 'Lord of the Mics 6' DVD, The Daily Star reported.
Starring the DVD in the headline act is Big H versus P Money, which fans have been looking forward to since their live clash in May. It has been reported that the headline act taking place is the biggest battle in the history of grime.
Wright-Phillips, formerly of Manchester City and Charlton, is the older brother of Shaun Wright-Phillips and the son of Arsenal legend Ian Wright.
Bolasie, Palace winger and full DR Congo international, has garnered attention from top English clubs such as Liverpool in recent months.
Jammer, the artist behind the Lord of the Mics platform, said that for 10 years they have played an essential role in the promotion and awareness of some of the most talented emcees and producers in the UK; from Skepta, Wiley, Tinchy Stryder and now for the first time in Lord of the Mics history they have got two footballers go head to head.
Jammer said that it is a testament to the hard work, the scene and to the fans that they are in this position and shows just the level of support that Grime has in the UK. (ANI)
