First-ever Quad leader summit to take place tomorrow

US President Joe Biden will hold the first-ever meeting virtually with the leaders of Australia, India and Japan tomorrow, boosting an emerging four-way alliance that has sent jitters to China. The meeting of the “Quad” comes amid rising tensions with China, as the Chinese military has been warned to prepare itself to respond to serious, complex and difficult situations.
